Thanks Javier! :) I feel as humans we're really bad at complexities and nuance. We gotta re-train our brain to understand how every concept or idea has so many sides to it.
I totally relate!I especially feel that right now during what is an extremely presidential important (they all feel that way now, since one party literally doesn't have a climate change platform), and each party points out how the other is driving us off the cliff to doomsday. Ugh! Our news cycles can be so toxic. I know I have pretty much stopped reading news--i'll hear about it if its important lol. I do feel this is a privileged place to be but at the same time what does flooding ourselves with this awfulness do expect promote hopelessness? We already know things are shit hahaha! I think its even harder with the political stuff because over here in the UK we know how much the US presidency will affect us yet can't do one iota about it!!! I loved your comparison of the patient doctor. :)
I have moments myself where I realize that things are falling to crap but it can’t change if everyone is not on the same page as my papa would say, if our world is expected to survive humanity needs to do things differently than we have been doing, otherwise we are heading for disaster.
